Roadmap 2021: What is next for SWFT Blockchain and SWFTC?

At SWFT Blockchain, cross-chain swaps are our bread and butter. But that’s not all we do. While cross-chain swaps are always going to be at the core of what we do, we also spend a good amount of our time building new products and improving our current ones. Through the years, our innovations have added new functionalities to a rapidly-expanding industry. SWFT Pay, for example, has made it easier to send and receive payments in over 200 cryptocurrencies, while Red Packets have made sharing crypto fun. We believe there is no such thing as a finished product and we’re always iterating and building. This is what we’ve been working on so far this year and what we hope to accomplish by the end of the year.

From 2017 to 2021

We launched SWFT Blockchain back in 2017 to make transferring value between people and across cryptocurrencies and blockchains simpler, faster, and safer.

Since then, SWFT Blockchain has grown from a small platform featuring a dozen cryptocurrencies, to a full-fledged, all-in-one cross-chain swap and crypto payments platform featuring swaps between over 200 currencies at unbeatable rates and including noncustodial storage options. SWFT Blockchain also powers cross-chain swaps for users of wallets like TokenPocket, HuobiWallet, Ellipal and more.

After a 2018 private sale of our token, SwftCoin and after participating in the first ever batch of the Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator in 2019, we have not stopped working to make the exchange of value across cryptocurrencies and blockchains as efficient and effortless as possible for as many people as possible.

From 2021 onwards

We are currently working on a multi-chain decentralized exchange aggregator, which will combine our years of swap experience with the best of DeFi products. The SWFT DEX Aggregator will launch for Binance Smart Chain in May of 2021 and will gradually roll-out support for more blockchains like Ethereum, HECO, Celo and more. The aggregator combined with our innovations on cross-chain swaps and with our payments network, will help SWFT Blockchain make strides in the direction of seamless, cross-chain, trustless crypto payments.

SwftCoin (SWFTC)

Everything we do is powered by SWFTC, our ERC-20 token. SWFTC already gives our users a discount of 50% on our super low 0.2% swap fees. It also gives us additional sources of liquidity which gives us an advantage over other swap platforms and allows us to offer even better swap rates. SWFTC will be integral to the governance of our new DEX Aggregator.

We’ve recently made SWFTC multi-chain and it is now available on Binance Smart Chain and HECO, in addition to Ethereum! SWFTC is available on SWFT Blockchain, and centralized exchanges like Huobi, OKEx, Poloniex, HitBTC, Bithumb Global, ZB.com, Hotbit, and more. It is also available on decentralized exchanges like Uniswap, MDEX, PancakeSwap, and more.

We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far but we’re even more excited about what the future holds for SWFT Blockchain. Read on for a detailed roadmap of SWFT Blockchain’s 2021 including what we’ve achieved so far and what we are working on and trying to accomplish in the future!

Roadmap

Q1 2021

Further integration of SWFT swap API with wallets, market info platforms, and media pages. ✅ During this time, our API was integrated by HuobiWallet, bitkeep, and more.
List SWFTC on more mainstream DeFi platforms. ✅ SWFTC has been available on Uniswap for about a year now. While a little later than we intended, SWFTC is now available on MDEX (HECO & BSC), PancakeSwap (BSC), and DogeSwap (HECO)
Pay or deposit SWFTC to get listed on SWFT swap. ✅ Our listing partners can now get discounts on listing fees if they use SWFTC!
Participate in alternative public chain ecosystems. ✅ In Q1 we launched support for HECO assets in addition to those from Binance Smart Chain and other previously supported chains. We’re always adding support for more assets on more blockchains!
Launch decentralized red packets. ✅ Users are now able to send red packets on-chain (watch out for gas fees!).
Integration of Binance Smart Chain and HECO assets. ✅ Not only does our platform now feature swaps between hundreds of cryptocurrencies on BSC, HECO, Ethereum and more, it also sorts assets by blockchain so you can easily find the currencies you want to swap.

Q2

Complete development of SWFT DEX Aggregator. ⏳ Almost there! Our aggregator will launch in the next few weeks and will support Binance Smart Chain DEXs to start with.
SWFTC becomes a multi-chain asset. ✅ SWFTC is now available as a BEP-20 token on Binance Smart Chain and an HRC-20 token on HECO, in addition to the original ERC-20 token on Ethereum.
Improve the DApp browser service in SWFT. ⏳ Add DeFi integrations and design UI for a DApp browser.
Optimize SWFTC social functions. ⏳ Make sharing red packets and payments even better and easier.
Get SWFTC listed on more top centralized exchanges. ⏳
Get SWFTC listed on more decentralized exchanges. ✅ In addition to recent listings on PancakeSwap, MDEX, and more, SWFTC has also been added to numerous farming pools on DeFi staking platforms on HECO and BSC
Continue to add more SWFT Blockchain Swap and Payment API partners. Partners can use SWFTC to get a discount on swap fees. ⏳

Q3

Integrate fiat on and off ramps. ⏳ We are in talks with various on/off-ramps to integrate their services into SWFT Blockchain and give our users the ability to go from fiat to crypt and back without leaving the SWFT Blockchain interface.
Development and optimization of News & Market pages. ⏳ Re-design the ‘Market’ page and introduce a ‘News’ page.
Rewards and airdrop program. ⏳
