SWFT Blockchain Supports FIO Send Protocol: Simplifying Crypto Transactions
We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully completed the integration of FIO Send, a protocol that simplifies and streamlines cryptocurrency transfers, into our platform. This integration is set to make cryptocurrency transactions easier, faster, and more efficient for our users.
What is the FIO?
FIO, the Foundation for Interwallet Operability, is a decentralized consortium of blockchain organizations and community members supporting the ongoing development, integration, and promotion of the FIO Protocol. The protocol is an open-source, decentralized usability layer solution that works across all blockchains, and uses human-readable Crypto Handles to replace the complexity, risk, and inconvenience that comes with blockchain-based transactions using public addresses. FIO Protocol is built on the FIO Chain, a dPoS blockchain fueled by ecosystem utilization of the FIO Token ($FIO).
How Does the FIO Send Protocol Work?
The FIO Send protocol simplifies the process of sending cryptocurrencies across different wallets and exchanges. To use the FIO Send protocol, users need to create a FIO Crypto Handle, which is a human-readable address that represents their cryptocurrency wallet.
Once a user has created a FIO handle, they can use it to send and receive cryptocurrencies across different wallets and exchanges that support the FIO Protocol. To send cryptocurrency, the user simply needs to enter the recipient’s FIO Crypto Handle, and the protocol takes care of the rest.
